Compress PDF
Shrink your PDF's file size by re-rendering pages at a lower image quality.
How this works: each page is redrawn as a compressed image and
rebuilt into a new PDF. This significantly reduces file size (especially for
image-heavy PDFs), but the text in the output will no longer be selectable/searchable.
For text-heavy PDFs where you need to keep selectable text, compression gains will be

Tips for best results
Lower quality values produce smaller files but reduce image sharpness. A quality of around 50–70% is usually a good balance for documents you plan to share or upload online. If your PDF is mostly text and file size isn't a major concern, a lighter compression setting will preserve more clarity.
